Day One: Saturday, June 6, 2009: Zoe's Graduation Party

Day One: Saturday, June 6, 2009
Zoe's Graduation Party

I had an Elder meeting at 6:15 that went very well until 9. I told the guys that I would have to leave at 9 to be able to get and help get the party together. so promptly at nine I was in my car driving out of the lot.
I was looking for party decorations primarily and I found some cheap "congratulations" crepe paper rolls at the corner of Kenneth and Madison. The only other place I found anything was at the Dollar Tree where I did find some placard and I bought a cool bouquet of nine balloons. Although it was a bit of a trick driving home with them in the cab of the truck.
I was back at home about 10 and I gave myself about two hours to work on the yard. I mowed and weed wacked everything, cut up the branches that were left out front, swept, and generally slicked up everything. I was finished about noon and then worked inside on what Christine needed me to do.
At some point I went down to school to work on the slide show. I added a few slides and then tried to burn it. It was all good as It gave me time to pull together my workshop stuff. I decided to bring a hard drive and I willed it with all kinds of stuff I might need. I was going to take longer than I had to process so I went back home to shower and get ready, but when I went back it was clear that it would never be done on time so I just bought the computer it was on and set that up for viewing. In the end it have about 664 slides and two movie clips. I never really had time to go through it all.

  1. Is that photoshopped - only "Zoe" seems to be pulling the same face in every photo no metter who she's with... and who the hell was so cruel as to invite all of her teachers to her grad parter?!?
